How do I reset the Parallels Plesk “admin” password?

In Windows:

1. Log in as administrator via rdp
2. Start > Run > C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin\plesksrvclient.exe
3. Be sure to include the quotes with this command
4. Enter new password when prompted

In Linux:

1. cd /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/
2. bin]# export PSA_PASSWORD=’newpass’ where ‘newpass’ is newpassword that you want to reset to
3. bin]# ./ch_admin_passwd —-> this will save the new password
4. bin]# cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow—> will show you the new password
